A native of Salem, MA, Dr. Tache’ has been practicing dentistry since 1975. He received his undergraduate degree from St. Anselm’s College in Manchester, NH, and his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in 1974.
I have had three distinclty different dental careers. Even before graduating from the University of Southern California School of Dentistry in 1968 I began my search for answers to my own headache pain so I might help myself and others.
Sleep Group Solutions history with Harvard goes back to Professor Jeffrey Fredberg's research and development of acoustic geometric imaging technology which ultimately became the Eccovision Acoustic Diagnostic Pharyngometer / Rhinometer system used today. Currently Harvard sleep researchers are actively involved with Pharyngometry testing and research related to obstructive sleep apnea.
SGS has worked extensively with USC researchers on acoustic airway imaging technology starting with the Eccovision Acoustic Pharyngometer and recently clinical research on ARCD technology to aid in airway imaging for intubation
Dr. John S. Viviano B.Sc. DDS obtained his credentials from the University of Toronto and has maintained a private practice of General, Family and Cosmetic Dentistry in Ontario, Canada since 1983.

Researchers in the department of Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine at Case Western University use SGS Eccovision Pharyngometer/Rhinometer technology. A recent publication used Pharyngometry to determine genetic basis for upper airway size.
